About the Lodge

Wolwedans — 'where wolves dance' in Afrikaans — sits within the NamibRand Nature Reserve, southern Africa's largest private nature reserve at 200,000 hectares of desert mountain and duneveld. The NamibRand is a Dark Sky Reserve — offering some of the finest stargazing in the world — and is one of the few places in Namibia where oryx, cheetah, and leopard can be tracked across the open desert.
